Job Description

The Marketing Officer's role is to support the Head of Marketing & Communications in the
delivery of Shoreditch Town Hall's marketing and communications strategy, while taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of key marketing, digital, audience development and Box Office activity.
We're looking for a friendly and motivated individual: someone with great communication skills, an eagerness to learn and passionate about our work, who is prepared to get stuck in and make a significant contribution to the Town Hall.

Job Requirements

Good knowledge of and interest in the performing arts sector and wider London arts and cultural scene.
Demonstrable experience of implementing successful marketing campaigns within the
context of the wider arts and cultural sector.
A proven track record of delivering successful marketing activity across all marketing channels including social media, email and in print.
A high standard of written and verbal English.
Demonstrable copywriting, editing and proof-reading skills.
Strong numeracy skills and an ability to interpret data to inform campaigns
Great customer service and general communication skills.
A systematic and creative approach to problem solving, with a can do attitude.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently.
Strong ability with all Microsoft Office programmes.
