Job Description
Keswick Museum is entering an exciting new chapter. We are actively developing our visitor offer, with the ambition of growing our audiences and increasing our sustainable income, while continuing to play an important role in the life of Keswick and its communities.
We are looking for an inspirational Chair of Trustees to lead our Board and help us achieve these ambitions. We are looking for an experienced leader who can bring strategic thinking, good judgement, enthusiasm and the ability to bring people together. Experience in museums or heritage is welcome but is not essential - we are particularly interested in what you can bring to the future development of the Museum.
This is a voluntary role, with reasonable expenses covered. If you would like to find out more, please see the full role description on the Keswick Museum website or contact us for an informal, confidential conversation.
Job Requirements
Approximately 6-8 hours per month in addition to five Board meetings a year, a full-day annual away day and monthly meetings with the Museum Manager and staff as required.
