Job Description
Wellbeing in the Arts provides mental health and wellbeing support to the creative industries by offering access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), production support, mental health first aid training, workshops, talks, events, and much more.
We work with a diverse range of over 125 trainee and qualified Counsellors and Coaches, and in the last twelve months, over 1,500 people have accessed our counselling and coaching service with over 10,000 sessions being delivered.
Our organisation supports companies of all sizes across the creative industries both nationally and internationally.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing team.
Duties include:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging social media strategies across multiple platforms adapting the content to suit different channels and audiences.
Manage content calendars, campaign scheduling and asset briefs
Lead on community engagement and interaction.
Track performance and optimise channels for reach and engagement.
Align social messaging with brand, content and campaign activity.
Stay updated on algorithm changes, platform features and trends.
This is an initial part-time position, 7 hours per week, the equivalent of one full day.
The role can be performed remotely, but the successful candidate must be based in the UK.
Job Requirements
An enthusiasm for the provision of mental health support to the creative industries.
Proven experience of managing social media campaigns and creating engaging content.
Ability to build online audiences and represent the organisation on social platforms.
Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to be creative, think ahead and take initiative.
Can work both self-sufficiently and collaboratively as part of a busy organisation.
A background in the creative industries.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Flexible, reliable and trustworthy.
A positive, friendly and personable manner.
