Job Summary

We are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant on an initial part-time freelance contract. The successful candidate will help to research sectors within the Creative Industries and collect key data that allows us to expand our organisation.

Job Description

Wellbeing in the Arts provides mental health and wellbeing support to the creative industries by offering access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), production support, mental health first aid training, workshops, talks, events, and much more.

We work with a diverse range of over 125 trainee and qualified Counsellors and Coaches, and in the last twelve months, over 1,500 people have accessed our counselling and coaching service with over 10,000 sessions being delivered.

Our organisation supports companies of all sizes across the creative industries both nationally and internationally.

We are looking for a Research Assistant to join our growing team.

Duties include:

Research each sector of the creative industries from organisations through to key individuals logging huge amounts of information.

Help to prepare extensive reports on findings.

Ensure our current data and information is accurate and up-to-date.

This is an initial part-time position, 14 hours per week, the equivalent of two full days.

The role can be performed remotely, but the successful candidate must be based in the UK and able to meet in person on occasion

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

An enthusiasm for the provision of mental health support to the creative industries.

A background in the creative industries.

Highly organised and efficient, with the ability to be creative, think ahead and take initiative.

Can work both self-sufficiently and collaboratively as part of a busy organisation.

Excellent administration and communication skills.

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Flexible, reliable and trustworthy.

Able to handle large amounts of data.

Experienced in using search engines and software packages such as Microsoft Excel.

A positive, friendly and personable manner.
