Job Description

Join The Magical Christmas Adventure as our Wardrobe & Costume Supervisor. Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of wardrobe across our immersive Christmas production, ensuring costumes are prepared, maintained and performance-ready. You'll manage fittings, repairs, laundry and quick changes while supporting cast and maintaining high creative standards throughout the season.

Job Requirements

Previous professional experience in wardrobe, costume, theatre, live entertainment or a similar production environment.
Experience managing or supporting a busy wardrobe department and multiple performers.
Strong practical sewing skills, including costume alterations, repairs and emergency fixes.
Experience with costume fittings, dressing and quick changes.
Good understanding of costume care, laundry, cleaning and garment maintenance.
Ability to organise, track and maintain a large costume inventory throughout a production.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining creative and presentation standards.
Confident working directly with performers and handling costume-related requirements professionally.
Excellent organisation and time-management skills in a fast-paced live environment.
Ability to remain calm and find practical solutions to last-minute costume issues.
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with Stage Management, Cast and Production teams.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day running of the Wardrobe & Costume department throughout the production.
Prepare and organise costumes ahead of each performance, ensuring all items are show-ready and presented to a high standard.
Manage costume fittings, alterations, repairs and emergency fixes for cast members.
Coordinate and support costume changes and quick changes during live performances.
Manage the daily laundry, cleaning, steaming and general care of costumes and accessories.
Maintain an organised costume inventory, tracking garments, accessories and replacements.
Carry out regular costume checks and identify items requiring repair, replacement or additional maintenance.
