As a small charity with an annual income of just over £20,000 and only a handful of monthly financial transactions, the responsibilities of the Treasurer are straightforward for anyone with experience of running a small business. Experience in financial management is important but accountancy qualifications are not required, neither is previous charity experience. We will provide support and an induction into the role. We require a time commitment of approximately 2 - 4 hours per month for financial administration and reporting, with some additional time required at year end for preparation of the annual accounts. The role also requires attendance at quarterly Board meetings (online) and our Annual General Meeting.
