Job Summary

Let’s Act Drama School York is looking for a fun, reliable and passionate Musical Theatre & LAMDA teacher to join our growing team starting in September! We currently have teaching opportunities available on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, working with a maximum of 12 children per class.

Job Description

MONDAY (term time)
Yearsley Grove Primary School, YO31 9BX
3.15pm - 5.00pm
£40 per session
You'll be teaching:
Musical Theatre show work
LAMDA solo acting & MT exams

TUESDAY (term time)
Escrick Primary School, YO19 6JQ
3.15pm - 5.00pm
£40 per session

We're looking for someone who is:
Fun, enthusiastic and engaging
Reliable and organised
Passionate about Musical Theatre and working with children
Confident leading a class and creating a positive, supportive environment
Has previous experience teaching Drama & MT- LAMDA experience is preferable, but not essential - training and support will be provided for the right person
Must have enhanced DBS
This is a lovely opportunity to join a friendly and growing drama school on a self-employed basis, with more teaching positions becoming available from December!
