Job Description
Having just undergone a major rebrand, we're looking to continue our growth, and we're seeking an energetic, goals-orientated marketing manager to help us achieve this.
Directly managed by our Artistic Director, you'll take the lead on marketing our headline shows, as well as supporting on the marketing of our short-runs and one-off shows more generally. You'll also help to increase attendance at the venue overall, including at the bar, and help us find ways to maximise our income through ticket sales and attendance. To start, the role will be 3 days a week (0.6FTE) with an expectation to transition to full time within 12 months. This role is expected to be entirely in person.
We think this role will be a great fit for any marketing or comms professionals, particularly those from an arts or events-led background. At The Glitch, we're a small, agile, passionate team. Job Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
Experience marketing artistic events and seasons
Experience developing and delivering advertising campaigns for events/shows
Strategic thinker, with acumen for developing and delivering impactful marketing strategy
Track-record of delivering excellent social media management
Experience managing websites via Wordpress
Strong proficiency delivering and managing social media advertising campaigns
Goals orientated, with a demonstrable track record for hitting sales targets
Affinity with LowMAC's values of honesty, kindness, innovation, and fun
Strong desire to work in a creative/arts environment
Desireable Skills and Experience
Experience delivering marketing and comms for a venue or theatre company
Proficient with Affinity or Adobe Design softwares
Experience leading on the vision and direction of a brand
Job Responsibilities
Programme Marketing
Leading marketing strategy and execution across headline shows, to ensure strong attendance.
Working with incoming teams for headline shows to deliver effective marketing campaigns.
Leading a general, programmatic strategy for each season of our "one off" and "short run" shows
Putting together and distributing 2 seasonal brochures annually.
Developing and delivering effective, focused marketing campaigns for the 2 shows we produce in house each year
Socials and Digital
Creating and delivering social media strategy across the organisation
Running our social media platforms to ensure cohesion
Key point of contact on social media
Leading on the creation and management of social media ads as needed -
particularly for our in-house shows
Writing and sending out our weekly mail-out
