This internship may develop into a permanent role for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate will have:
A degree or equivalent in graphic design
Advanced proficiency in InDesign and Acrobat Pro
A strong visual eye and proven design skills for typography and layout
Strong interest in illustrated book publishing or a related industry
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
An ability to prioritise and multi-task as required.

Duties include:
Preparation of materials (style sheets, master pages)
Updating catalogues in InDesign
Preparing pre-press files (colour correcting and other trouble-shooting)
Picture research

This internship is part-time (on average 3 days). Hours 9am to 5pm. This is for 12 weeks with possible extension. Office-based in Shoreditch, London. Hourly rate: min. £13 per hour depending on experience. Starting as soon as possible.
