Job Summary
Job Description
The primary responsibilities of the role are to:
1) be the main point of contact for the company
2) lead on tour logistics (accommodation and travel)
3) support tour booking and management
4) lead on evaluation of company activity
5) fulfil the role of Company Data Controller
6) deliver general company administration, including audition management, Illuminate updating, and supporting HR, engagement and marketing activity
Dates & Hours of Engagement
The annual salary is based on a commitment to 26 hours per week for 42 weeks (the academic year) and 13 hours per week for 10 weeks of the year (school holidays). The 26 hours per week are to take place at mutually agreed times daily, between the hours of 9am-6pm, every day, Monday to Friday.
Remuneration
A salary of £17,973.42 per annum, via payroll, exclusive of any allowances or holiday pay that may apply. Tax and National Insurance will be deducted at source. Payment will be made in equal monthly instalments. The Manager operates a statutory auto-enrolment pension scheme.
Place of work
The management of Box Clever is carried out virtually with the core management working remotely. The work to be undertaken at the individual's preferred location is done so on the proviso that regular contact is made with the Artistic Director, the General Manager and the core management team. You are asked to take part in weekly (Friday morning) online staff meetings.

Job Requirements
Person Specification
The ideal candidate for the role will have:
- Experience of working in administration
- Proven ability to work with a diverse range of people, communicating effectively through emails, phone and in person
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, to multi-task and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to problem solve, while knowing when to seek guidance from the General Manager
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate information sharing
- Strong digital literacy, comfortable working across Microsoft Office programmes, digital content tools, and video conferencing platforms
- GCSE grade A-C in Maths in order to support budgetary control
- Experience in Arts/Charity, Arts Administration or Education
- An interest in theatre and education
- A working knowledge of AI
Job Responsibilities
- Be the lead point of contact for staff & clients on a daily basis, responding to phone, email & website enquiries
- Support with planning, promotion & sales of plays to schools & theatres
- Manage school bookings
- Book spaces for auditions and meetings
- Arrange travel and accommodation for company members
- Support Marketing & Communications Manager with marketing activities: sending invites, mailshot, eflyers, newsletters, preparing and sending assets to venues, updating website
- Support the core team as required including audition management; HR support; Engagement activity support including summer/half term theatre projects; Attendance at company performances and events
- Lead on evaluations for company activity, creating surveys, compiling reports
- As data controller, manage and store safely all data including updating Arts Council Illuminate
- Keep logs of all company activity
- Assist in monitoring, tracking and control budget expenditure related to tour logistics
