Essential:

An interest in creative work and experience working within an arts context.
Experience and knowledge of working with people with learning disabilities.
A calm, nurturing and compassionate approach to managing emotional regulation and behaviour
Knowledge of issues, challenges and needs of diverse young people, particularly those with SEND
Experience and knowledge of safeguarding procedures, policy and pastoral care
The ability to be creative and resourceful in problem solving
The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with learners and families/carers
Experience supporting learners with personal hygiene and intimate care in a respectful and dignified manner
The ability to be a positive ambassador for the charity
An open and honest communication style
A high degree of self-motivation and drive to improve life for others
A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
