As a Trustee, you will sit at the very heart of the company's future, providing strategic oversight, governance, and guidance as we navigate this next chapter of expansion.
Job Requirements
Who We Are Looking For:
While we welcome applications from diverse professional backgrounds, we are particularly keen to hear from individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Experience & Expertise of Theatre Sector
Deep understanding of the UK theatre landscape, particularly experience working within regional midscale venues or touring contexts.
Finance & Fundraising
Background in charity finance, budgeting, commercial income generation, or cultivating philanthropic and trust-based funding streams.
Legal Practices
Knowledge of corporate governance, commercial contracts, employment law, or intellectual property within the creative sector.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Attend at least four Board meetings per year, preparing by reviewing relevant papers and reports.
Help shape and approve the company's strategic direction, vision, and long-term goals.
Ensure the company complies with charitable governance, legal obligations, and financial management best practices.
Act as a advocate for Rhum + Clay within your professional networks.
