The Role
We are seeking an experienced ASM to act as Video/AV Technician for this touring production.
Contract Details
Rehearsal Period: 7 December 2026 - 9 January 2027 (London)
Tech & Previews: 11 January 2027 onwards
Tour Dates: 14 January - 26 June 2027
Pay: £700 per week + touring allowance
Contract: Full-time touring contract
Job Requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as an ASM with video/AV responsibilities in theatre
Strong technical knowledge of video playback systems and AV equipment
Familiarity with common theatre AV systems and standards
Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different venue technical specifications
Excellent communication with lighting, sound, and stage management teams
Full UK driving licence (essential for touring work)
Availability for the full contract period
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining all video and AV equipment throughout the tour
Setting up and testing video systems at each new venue
Managing playback and cueing of video content during performances
Troubleshooting technical issues and liaising with the production's technical team
Ensuring compatibility with different venue infrastructure and specifications
Maintaining detailed records of AV specifications for each venue
Supporting the DSM and wider stage management team
