About the National Saturday Club

The National Saturday Club gives 13-16-year-olds the opportunity to study subjects they love at local universities, colleges and cultural institutions. The free, year-long programme builds skills and confidence and helps young people discover pathways to further study and future careers.

About the role

The Programme Coordinator (Masterclasses) will work alongside the Programme Manager to coordinate an ambitious programme of inspiring, creative and educational events for 13-16-year-olds across the UK.

Around 80-85 Masterclasses take place between January and May, reaching up to 140 Clubs and more than 2,500 young people. Through industry-led briefs, trips and practical experiences, Masterclasses help members apply their learning, explore career pathways and discover new possibilities.

The Coordinator will take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of Masterclasses, ensuring each is carefully planned and delivered to a high standard. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven role involving multiple events, stakeholders and competing priorities.

About you

You will have experience in event coordination or programme delivery, excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. You will be proactive, dependable and confident taking ownership of a substantial workload, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

You will communicate clearly and build positive relationships with a wide range of partners. You will also have a genuine interest in supporting young people and enthusiasm for the opportunities the National Saturday Club creates.
