Job Summary

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and compliance across the School.

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a key role in delivering timely financial information, supporting budgeting, audits and financial reporting, while driving improvements to systems and processes. You'll work closely with colleagues, students, suppliers and external partners to provide a professional, responsive finance service that supports both operational excellence and strategic growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys improving processes, building strong relationships and contributing to the success of a dynamic organisation.

This is a permanent, part-time role, worked over 32 hours a week (0.8 FTE) - further information on terms and conditions can be found in the Recruitment Pack.

Job Requirements

The Finance Manager is responsible for the effective
day-to-day operation of the School's finance
function, ensuring accurate financial processing,
strong financial controls and compliance with
relevant regulations and policies across the School
and its associated companies.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Finance
Manager will support the delivery of timely and
accurate financial information, assisting with
financial reporting, budgeting and audit
requirements. The post holder will also contribute to
the ongoing improvement of financial processes and
systems, helping to increase efficiency and reduce
manual administration across payroll, invoicing,
banking and financial reporting activities.
The Finance Manager will work closely with
colleagues across the School and maintain effective
relationships with students, suppliers, payroll
providers, auditors and banking partners. The post
holder will contribute to a professional and responsive
finance service that supports the School's operational
and strategic objectives.
