Job Summary
Job Description
Anjali Dance Company is looking for an experienced freelance Senior Producer to support and nurture our existing artistic productions and projects throughout 2027.
Working collaboratively and with a person-centred approach, you will oversee production and touring, develop relationships with venues and partners, support fundraising and income generation, and help ensure our projects are delivered effectively and accessibly.
You will work closely with Anjali's artists, creative teams, partners, audiences, funders and Board to maintain the quality, ambition and momentum of our artistic programme.
Job Requirements
Location: Hybrid. On-site at our Nottingham base and remote working, with project-based travel across the UK as required. The balance of remote and in-person working will be mutually agreed.
Commitment: Approx. 81-96 days. The final number of contracted days will be determined by the agreed day rate, within the total contract value.
As a freelance role, there is flexibility around when the work is undertaken, subject to agreed meetings, project dates, deadlines and programme requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the production and delivery of Anjali's agreed artistic programme
- Progress touring, strategic development and distribution of Anjali's existing and new productions
- Support audience development and engagement, ensuring we reach and connect diverse audiences across the UK
- Represent Anjali externally, building strong sector relationships and growing the company's profile
- Write funding bids and maximise income generation for the agreed programme
- Manage project budgets and maintain accurate financial tracking
- Embed person-centred, inclusive and accessible working practices with our artists at the heart of all decisions and delivery.
- Anticipate and respond to project risks, delivery challenges and changing priorities.
- Provide regular programme, fundraising and financial updates to the Board.
- Work flexible and responsively across the year, recognising that the needs of the artistic programme will vary, with periods of greater and lesser activity.
