Job Summary

The Awards and Regional Events Producer will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and exciting online and in person WFTV events in the nations and regions, relationship management and supporting the delivery of the annual WFTV Awards, working as a core member of the events team.

Job Description

Plan and deliver a wide range of online and in-person events, from small networking sessions to large-scale events, responding to industry trends, WFTV's objectives and the interests of its members.
Oversee WFTV's in-person events programme across our regional and national hubs in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester.
Line manage WFTV's part-time Event Managers in Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.
Produce and deliver all aspects of allocated events, with oversight from the Director of Awards, Events and Partnerships.
Manage event budgets, monitor expenditure and provide accurate financial reporting.
Manage invitations and communications with event hosts, speakers and other contributors.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date event information across relevant databases and systems.
Prepare and circulate clear event briefs for the WFTV team and external stakeholders.

Event Marketing and Promotion
Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure all events are effectively promoted, including:
Writing and editing event copy for the WFTV website.
Uploading and managing events on WFTV's ticketing platform and website.
Monitoring ticketing and event listings on a day-to-day basis and making updates where required.
Providing event information and promotional content for the WFTV newsletter.
Ensuring each event receives appropriate social media promotion before, during and where relevant, after the event.

Job Requirements

Skills & Experience
At least 4 years' experience in live event production and delivery.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience delivering events outside London, with an understanding of working across the nations and regions.
Strong technical and digital skills, including confident use of Zoom, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, databases and ticketing platforms.
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, with the confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including venues, suppliers, sponsors, event partners, guest speakers and members.
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and professional event information and correspondence.
A friendly, professional and member-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering a positive experience for attendees and stakeholders.
