Job Description
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role. Dealing with busy set decorators, buyers and stylists, often working to tight deadlines and expecting a high level of service. A large part of the role is managing email enquiries and orders, often with quick turnaround times, so you'll need to be responsive, organised and confident managing competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and a warm, welcoming approach.
Hospitality is at the centre of our business. We believe the creative people in our industry need to be looked after, and this would be an essential part of your role. This includes making tea & coffee and offering breakfasts and lunches to all our customers.
Job Requirements
Under the guidance of the Head of Classic, you would welcome and assist customers visiting the Classic department, creating a positive, warm and professional experience. Managing customer enquiries by email, telephone, and face-to-face.
Assist the Hospitality Coordinator when required and provide cover during annual leave or sickness.
Offer ad-hoc support to the wider hire team during busy periods.
Develop a good knowledge of our stock, including different periods, designers, materials and styles. Keep up to date with new additions to the collection and develop a strong understanding of period furniture and design.
Carry out other ad hoc duties across the business as needed.
