The Show will transfer to the Sherman Theatre Cardiff for the final week of performances after a weeks holiday,
The contract will be a Equity/UKT Sub Rep, we are a MRSL 1 venue, we are waiting on this years rates.

Undertaking all stage management work as reasonably required for Theatr Clwyd.
Company care, working alongside the Wellbeing team at Theatr Clwyd to provide exemplary care for the company.
Attending production meetings, fit-ups, rehearsals, and technical rehearsals, strikes and get-outs as required.
Preparing the rehearsal space, including the mark up.
Leading the procurement of rehearsal props if required.
Propping the show, which may include the making, buying, hiring and borrowing of props. You will pay close attention to the environmental impact of the props you are procuring and will borrow props where able to in order to reduce environmental impact.
Liaising with designers, directors and other member of the creative team regarding prop/furniture and scheduling requirements.
Running Stage Management props and show running budgets.
Running technical rehearsals and preview work.
Running a show track where required.
Submitting weekly timesheets and working with the Producer & Director to keep within working limits.
Adhering to the theatre's health and safety policy and to current legislation permitting the safe operation of theatre activities.

Job Requirements

Essential Experience
Substantial theatrical experience in Company Stage Management.
Proven experience of working in a similar scale producing theatre.
Working knowledge of union agreements (Equity, MU, BECTU) and their wider implications in the production process.
Demonstrable time management and organisational skills.
Where the role requires, a willingness to undertake a DBS check at the appropriate level.
Experience of working unsupervised, using your own initiative.

Essential Skills
Strong collaborative skills and used to working with a wide range of creative/production collaborators within a busy producing environment.
You should be a confident, friendly, pro-active individual with excellent people skills and have a strong track record of working to agreed timescales.
The ability to work simultaneously across several tasks, with the ability to effectively prioritise your workload.
Computer literate and confident with Microsoft Office.

Job Responsibilities

Desirable Experience/Skills
A full, clean driving license.
Fluent in the Welsh language.
Experience of working alongside Creative Engagement teams and community outreach projects.
First Aid qualification.
