Job Summary
Job Description
Metal are looking for a creative, flexible and inspiring Producer to support the Director and wider Metal team with production, engagement, logistics, fundraising and administration.
You will be highly organised and experienced in managing budgets and working with artists and communities to support their ideas and development.
You should have a passion for nature-based approaches to creative practice and be eager to explore how art can drive social change, resilience and local transformation.
You will be motivated by working with diverse communities and exploring the role of artists and art in civic infrastructure.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to Metal's national programme, connecting Peterborough and Cambridgeshire's work with Metal's sites in Southend and Liverpool, and sharing creative approaches that inspire positive change. This position is initially working from home on a temporary basis, before being based onsite at Thorpe Meadows, Peterborough.
We're running a guaranteed interview scheme for this role as part of our commitment to addressing the imbalance of underrepresented communities within the cultural sector and within our own organisation. You can also apply for this role in a way that meets your access requirements.
