Job Description
BoonDog are seeking an early-career act with a show they are ready to bring to venues but don't know where to start
This mentorship is for artists who already have a show they would like to produce, in at least a first draft stage. Ideally, the show is a small-scale theatre or storytelling piece. They're also open to comedy forward pieces, so long as they include a significant dramatic component.
The scheme can adapt a package of support, depending on individual needs. Some examples of what we can offer are:
Administrative guidance and support
Marketing and PR output
Creative feedback
A stipend of £375 as a participation payment, plus travel and accommodation as needed
Applications are open until October 16th 23:59. Decisions will be returned from October 24th, the mentorship programme then commences October 2026, running until February 2027.

About BoonDog Theatre
Creative Director Lucy Roslyn and Productions Director Jamie Firth started BoonDog Theatre in 2012 to create new writing for the theatre. We wanted to tell stories that start conversations that last long beyond the audience leaving the theatre.
Our work covers many subjects, but we try to focus on social issues, backed by immaculately researched detail. Our work is covertly political: our commentary on modern society hidden in the (perhaps somewhat more comfortable) fictional past.
