Job Description
We are looking to recruit an artist, artists or arts organisation experienced in creative outdoor practice, to deliver a series of engaging co-creation workshops with communities in four underserved areas in Worcester to collaboratively produce a portable outdoor play resource.
The successful artist(s) or arts organisation will support participants of all ages to contribute their ideas and memories of play activity, ensuring that the resource has been developed jointly, giving ownership to those who have helped with the process.
The artist must also consult with Worcestershire disability group, Voices United, to ensure that disabled voices are considered throughout the co-creation process and that each structure is accessible for all.
The Fee
The fee for this commission is £10,000 inclusive of workshops, planning, design and creation of final artwork, all materials, travel expenses and any equipment needed.

We will be holding an information session for artists to meet with project partners and find out more about the commission on Wednesday 21 October at 11.30am at Horizon Hub, Midland Rd, Worcester WR5 1DS.
There will be an online information session for anyone unable to join us in person on Wednesday 21 October at 2pm on Microsoft Teams.

- Your approach to inclusively engaging with children, young people and their families
- Your proposed timetable for delivering the project
- Materials you might use, including details of their durability or any maintenance required
- A brief breakdown of how you intend to spend the budget
- Confirmation that you will be prepared to complete a method statement and risk assessment before starting work
