Job Summary

Branch Arts is looking for a Commercial Manager to help grow this small, fast-growing art consultancy and artist agency.

Job Description

Branch Arts sources and curates collections for private and corporate clients, representing artists, and mentoring the next generation of talent. We're looking for someone with a strong commercial or sales background, who wants a way into the art world. The successful candidate will lead on identifying and winning new clients, build pipeline systems, and help shape a growing business. The role will be working closely with the Director one day a week from our Charlbury studio.
Starting with 3 days a week the role will be on a three-month trial with potential to become a permanent, contracted role.
If you are commercially sharp, love the idea of art as your "product," and want real ownership of a role you can build, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Requirements

Substantial commercial experience in sales, business development, marketing or account
management, ideally with clients at senior level.
Proven ability to identify, pursue and close new business.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, manage priorities and work well
under pressure.
Comfortable taking ownership of systems and follow-through - invoicing, contracts and
record-keeping - and seeing projects through to completion.
Confident with the basics of digital work: Squarespace, social media and simple video
editing, plus tools like Xero, Excel and CRM systems.
Comfortable using sales and pipeline platforms (for example Artlogic, Salesforce or similar
CRM/sales tools) to track leads and close business.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good interpersonal skills and the
ability to manage high-profile client relationships.
Discreet and professional
